great little unit. So good when people raid my traps they take the bait holder as well. Grrrr.

I have now purchased a total of 18 of these crab bait holders. I use them when netting yabbies, red claws and also fresh water spiny crayfish in the Murray river. I have found them to be very durable, let the bait blood etc drift into the water. They are easy to open and also close, even with cold hands. Being round with no sharp edges, they do not catch or bind up in the nets. A very durable and useful product at a very realistic price. Don't even bother trying to make my own anymore. Highly recommend them

These baskets are great for holding spleen in which I've found to be the best bait. They stop the blow fish devouring the bait so quickly. Easy to install and simple to use.
